Our Story & Impact

Tomiya Helping Hand Foundation

Tomiya Helping Hand Foundation is headquartered in Benin City, Edo State, with regional outreach offices across Nigeria. We are a duly registered, non-profit, apolitical non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to human capital development, child protection, and the holistic empowerment of marginalized communities.
Driven by our core mission to eradicate hunger and ensure that no child or vulnerable elder goes to bed without a nutritious meal, our signature interventions—including Program SMILE, Back-to-School Educational Supplies, and Women Vocational Empowerment—create tangible, lasting pathways to self-reliance.

Our Impact and Initiatives

  • Nutritional Support: Consistently distributing essential food items to the poorest and most vulnerable households.
  • Educational Advancement: Providing school uniforms, notebooks, writing materials, and daily meals to indigent and out-of-school children, ensuring they have the resources necessary to pursue their education.
  • Economic Empowerment: Fostering self-reliance by equipping young entrepreneurs with vocational starter kits, such as sewing machines and other essential trade tools.
